Adjustments not yet received

#1

Post by dogden68 »

On my Budget Allowance Summary Report, below the first through fourth quarter allowances, there is a line item called "Adjustments not yet received". I have not seen this on previous year budgets. I am hesitant to plan for this money and not sure why it will be allocated. I should mention our stake made some ward boundary changes and created two new wards. My ward is not new, but the boundaries were changed. Can anyone explain this budget line item.

As far as I'm aware, that's done via check or manual transfer. It would be based on how many active members (whose attendance was reflected in the quarterly reports) got moved between units. Since "the system" doesn't know who is "active", I don't see how that would be automated.

I'm not sure what this line item is.

When the stake moved boundaries and created the other two wards, our ward experienced a loss of approximately 30% of the total members. I am expecting a reduction to in the actual 3rd and 4th quarter allocations due to the reduction in sacrament attendance, and cannot imagine a fifth allocation of funding to the ward. Can you recommend someone who might be able to explain the additional expected fund allocation?

Your official support line is the stake clerk and then CHQ. Support contact information can be found in the Help Center. For US/Canada, you can go here.
