Substantial Updates to LCR overnight
There were substantial updates to LCR overnight. Link to the Access Table https://www.lds.org/mls/mbr/access-table?lang=eng for those with the appropriate callings.
Which probably explains the LCR outages in another post on the forum. https://tech.lds.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=112&t=24776

The outages were actually a different issue. Once the outages were resolved, our release went through without any issues.

Any release notes available so we can see what the updates were?

Re: Substantial Updates to LCR overnight
I guess this raises a question - what features were taken out of MLS and what membership functions are still MLS only?
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Not really. One would have to make a few assumptions.zaneclark wrote:The release notes spell it out...

I would have to sit down in the clerks office with MLS open on the desktop and LCR on my iPad to check this, but from memory, I can only think of a very few functions only available on MLS, for example custom reports.

Re: Substantial Updates to LCR overnight
You still need MLS to create new records, record child blessings (although you can print certificates from LCR), record convert baptisms (although wards seldom need to do that) and cancel records. But based on the access table those will probably be coming very soon.zaneclark wrote:I would have to sit down in the clerks office with MLS open on the desktop and LCR on my iPad to check this, but from memory, I can only think of a very few functions only available on MLS, for example custom reports.
There's also a fair amount of membership information that can't be edited or added in LCR such as adding a civil marriage, record a death, record a divorce or add/edit/delete non-member children.
And, of course, all financial changes have to be done in MLS still.
