I am considering subscribing to a people location service at my own cost, for both personal reasons and church reasons.

Are some services better than others at finding people? What is the price range for a good service?

My wife subscribed to such a service last year, but she didn't read the fine print. She was paying a monthly fee PLUS a fee for each search. I asked her to cancel it.
