Recording Missionaries as a HT Companionship
Is it possible to set up missionaries as a HT companionship? Families are assigned to them to visit but as they are not members of the Ward, they cannot be selected to form a companionship.

Re: Recording Missionaries as a HT Companionship
According to this post by one of the developers they were given specific instructions to not allow full time missionaries to be available to be assigned as home teachers.
The standard way to ask for a change for these kind of rules is by submitting feedback using the Feedback link in LCR or by asking your stake president (or mission president in this case) to talk to their priesthood leader about it. In this case, I expect the priesthood route it more likely to bear fruit but even if it does, the time table for this kind of change is usually fairly long. It takes a while to make the decision, find time in the development schedule and then actually do the development and finally release.

Re: Recording Missionaries as a HT Companionship
You may also want to ponder this paragraph from Handbook 2:
On one hand, it does say "assigned". But on another it does say "with Melchizedek Priesthood holders on a limited basis"With approval from the mission president, leaders may consider asking full-time missionaries to go home teaching with Melchizedek Priesthood holders on a limited basis. The mission president communicates this approval to the stake president, who informs bishops. When such approval is given, full-time missionaries are assigned primarily to visit new members, part-member families, and less-active members.
