Hi,
There is a family in my ward where the husband has requested his name be taken off the records of the church. This has happened a few years ago. He does not want his name to be on any of the church records but his name is listed in LDS Tools. How do I remove his name from LDS Tools. If he knew his name was listed there it could cause serious problems for his wife and family.
Thanks for your help,

Re: How to remove a name from LDS Tools
As long as he is legally married to a member wife, his name will be recorded on her record as a spouse.
I'm not sure about LDS Tools, but there is a situation with the Directory where sometimes it will use the marriage record to display a non-member spouse. You have to contact CHQ to get that suppressed. If they give any push back on that, point them to the Directory FAQs. And as long as you're talking to them, make sure that his name really was removed. It's possible the ball was dropped at some point.
