Validating Boundary Changes Have Been Implemented

#1

Post by iwatanoiwa »

Our stake requested a boundary change. According to the Stake President, Salt Lake approved the change. When I look in LCR - Ward Maps I don't see the change in boundary and the members that should now be in the other ward are still showing up in our ward. Is there something that I can do to get the changes to show up in the system so that the ward clerk can move the families to the new ward?

Strike that - I just checked and maps does show the changes. I just needed to wait another day or two to see the changes show up.

Not sure your process, but we recently had a boundary change that created a Branch from two existing wards. The Stake provided a list to each ward of the members that are now in the branch and the clerks were instructed to move those members immediately (that day if possible).

You don't have to wait for the boundary change to show on the maps to move the members to the new unit if you know who they are and where they are going.
