I received an email stating that a password change had been requested. I did not make this request. What actions should I take?

You don't need to do anything. Most likely someone mistakenly entered your LDS account username and were confused when their password didn't work. But to secure password changes, the Church will only make the change after sending an email to the registered owner (you). So as long as you don't actually change your password, your current password will continue to work.
