LDS Account denied access to facilities

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. LDS Account denied access to facilities

member has lds.org access but when trying to use facilities he gets access denied "you said you are a non member" I never said that and have been a member 76 years. your software does not allow a person to change non member to member by entering his membership number donpotter user name, email potter_d@live.com

Go to ldsaccount.lds.org. You should be able to enter your membership number in there to convert your non-member account to a member account.

Two possible error messages:
  • The number is already in use - you've got another account that's using that MRN. Go back to the login, click on "forgot username" and follow the setups to learn what account has your MRN.
  • The MRN is invalid. It probably copy copied down incorrectly. Check with your ward clerk/ward membership clerk for the right number.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
