Stake young women access to leader services

#1

Post by brownz101 »

I am stake young women president, and I want to see the young women of each ward, but am denied access to leaders services. I'm not sure if this a fault as ward young presidency have access, so why not the stake leader? Please advise. Thanks

The answer given in the official LCR FAQ is:
Why don’t stake auxiliary leaders and high councilors have access to LCR?
Stake auxiliary leaders and high councilors are primarily responsible to instruct and support ward auxiliary and Melchizedek Priesthood leaders. They orient newly called ward auxiliary and Melchizedek Priesthood leaders and provide encouragement, support, and instruction. They are not responsible for individual ward members. It is the ward clerk’s responsibility to train ward auxiliary and Melchizedek Priesthood leaders on record-keeping tools and responsibilities. If stake auxiliary leaders and high councilors need a list of members for planning purposes, they should request this information through the ward or stake clerk.

Leader and Clerk Resources 3.1.1, which is currently in beta but should be released any day now, will give you access to a few basic reports on the site.
High councilors and stake auxiliary presidencies, including secretaries, can now access the following pages: Quarterly Report, Unit Statistics, and Key Indicators.

However, you won't have the same access as ward leaders – see the FAQ item quoted by eblood66 above.

Another reason for limiting access, besides what's mentioned in the FAQ, is to protect the Church from privacy concerns that in some places could become legal issues – which is especially important when dealing with youth and children.
