Pa child clearance
In Pennsylvania we are required to have child clearance certificates on file for members who work with children and youth. An option has been added to MLS to track the clearance certificates and to scan the certificates into the system. None of our units have scanners. Does anyone know if scanners will be provided by the Church or Wards are responsible for acquiring their own scanner?

Look carefully at the "copier" in the meeting house. You may find that it has a scanner function.
Depending on what format MLS wants, you might just try and get a clean photo on a smart phone and import that.

The Google Drive app for smart phones includes a scan to PDF option when you add a document. With it you can acquire multi-page documents, apply filters, adjust cropping and adjust page size and orientation of the PDF. Then you can save it to Drive and access it easily for MLS import.
