Post by ccordoba24 »

Hi,

Anyone know why cdol wont update a bishops new info? Our bishop changed address and phone number but although I updated lds.org normally a few months ago, cdol still shows the previous address and phone number.

Just wondering out load actually.

Cheers,

:D

CDOL seems to work with different fields.

The bishop should be able to go into CDOL and change it. It's a bit hidden. Pull up the person in full-screen and you should see "Edit Assignment" in the upper left.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

The bishop can change his phone number. Normally, the ward clerk needs to update the address of the bishop on his membership record. If those things have been accomplished, ask the stake clerk to try an update and then follow up if necessary.

There is additional information stored directly in CDOL. Have the bishop try editing his calling information in LCR. Fields for editing that information will be displayed when editing the calling.
