I have a member who was baptized last year. His parents are not members.
When the members record was created, the members Mother's name was misspelled.
I can edit anything about the member, and can see the Parents listed but do not have the ability to correct the spelling.
Please let me know how to do this.

Are you looking in MLS or LCR? To edit information about parents currently you have to use MLS. You should be able to edit the parent's name by finding the person's record in MLS (using Membership > Individual Record from the menu), selecting the Parents tab on the left and then clicking the Edit button in the upper right corner of the mother's information.

If you can't edit it in MLS, use the "Special Request" feature to send CHQ what needs to be done.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
