Excommunicated Member Records

We have a new individual who has moved into the ward boundaries who has been excommunicated. The Bishop needs the membership information to start the process to prepare for readmission. How does he get these records?

The bishop, with approval from his stake president, requests a copy of the previous disciplinary council minutes from Confidential Records at Church headquarters. Everything he needs should be in those minutes.

Unless something has changed the ward clerk can also make the request (it's done using an option under the Confidential Records menu on LCR) but the records will be mailed to the stake president who will pass them on to the bishop.
