Added Baptism or Ordination Info Lost

We record a baptism or Aaronic priesthood ordination, save the entry, print the certificate, and do a send/receive. Next week we realize that LDSTools/LCR does not show the changes, and MLS now doesn't show them either! The entry is lost. We reenter the info, and it's lost a second time!
I think it's a bug in the program, but thought I'd check here if it's been seen before and if there is a fix. I thought I'd try resyncing the ward and hope for the best.

Assuming this isn't a wide-spread bug, I'd suspect a corrupt database.

At one time the fix for that was to back up and immediately restore. I'm not sure if that's still true.

We had a corrupt database when we moved to a new computer (Which was after the missing ordinances were entered). Ended up installing an old backup and SLC updated everything for us (in what I assume was a resync). So now I assume all my backups are afflicted with the corruption. Re-sync?

I assume you're talking about a Unit Refresh. Probably not a bad idea. I'd call support and see what they suggest. If you think your old backup was corrupted, you might want to scrap the entire backup and go from scratch. Most of what's in MLS is held on church servers anyway. I'd trying to think what you'd lose. Custom reports, and anything in custom fields and MLS accounts.

With CUBS I think everything financial is on church servers. Certainly HT/VT is now.

I think the Church doesn't store specific details about baptisms (for example, the person performing the baptism), only the date. Perhaps the same is true for Aaronic Priesthood ordination and office of Deacon. When I look at my profile in LDS Tools, I can see my baptismal date, but not the person who performed the baptism, and I can see information for ordained Teacher and Priest, but nothing about general Aaronic Priesthood or Deacon ordination. I remember that I did enter in the person who was performing the baptism a few years ago, when I was ward clerk, but a few months later I discovered it was missing again.

However, you should at least see the date for baptism saved. Are you seeing the date?
