Application to First Presidency for Sealing Clearence

I am assisting a brother who is needing a sealing clearance. On his portion of the on-line application it keeps asking him to answer the Spouse to be sealed to portion and he is not currently married. He states he can not fill out the field and it come to me as not answered. What can be done? I can not submit the application to the stake president because of the issue and i can not make any changes to the applicant's portion either. Please help.

The applicant puts the name of the sister to whom he plans to be sealed in that portion of the application. He does not need to be married to her currently.

I've not seen this tool myself, but if it is like others, it may have a way of quickly adding the name of the current spouse - but that doesn't mean the data is limited to the current spouse, or even any list at all.

My bishop asked me to come to his house last night and help him with a sealing clearance. He was very confused and a little intimidated by the complexity of the online form. Unfortunately, neither his ward clerk nor his stake clerk has access to this application in LCR, and I don't believe any online help exists to assist bishops and stake presidents. Our stake has a few bishops who do not have the technical skills necessary to login to LCR and complete the Application to the First Presidency.
