Children's Records Left Behind - New Family
We had a new couple move into the ward a couple of months ago with their three children. We just realized that we only received the records for the parents - not for the children. The previous unit they moved from is in our stake and the childrens' records are not stuck behind in the old unit. Any suggestions? All kids are younger than 8.

Re: Children's Records Left Behind - New Family
Are they converts or did they have the children after they were members? If converts, then chances are the children's names were simply noted on the parent's records and no "child of record" was ever created for them.
There seems to be a lot of confusion between children that show up on the parent's records (genealogy information) and actually having the record in the ward.
But first step would be to try and request the records of them individually and see what happens.
