Chrome v42 disables NPAPI plugins by default which includes Silverlight. The new webcast portal uses Silverlight as the media player for receiving the broadcast. Looks we'll be using Firefox now.

Just did a successful portal.LDSWebcast.org receive using Silverlight with Chrome V42 on Laptop with Windows 7, 64bit, i5, 4GB

That can work short-term, but eventually Chrome will remove the NPAPI. Why not just use another browser now? They're plentiful. You'll have to use a different one eventually.

Agree and lets hope Microsoft updates Silverlight to use something other that the NPAPI
