Is there a plan to release a version of the gospel library languages side by side?
Thanks

I have the same request. More specifically could there be parallel texts displayed side-by-side with alignment at the verse/paragraph level? Of course this could only be for completely parallel texts like the scriptural text, the Liahona, General Conference talks, many of the manuals, etc. There is a desktop program that almost does this (only the top most verse is aligned) with scripture texts.
Thank you,

Member of the Gospel Library for Windows team here.

This is a feature we are considering for Gospel Library for Windows. As we're still, in many ways, playing catchup in terms of features with Gospel Library for iOS and Gospel Library for Android, it doesn't have much of a priority at present, but the feature is definitely on our radar for potential inclusion in a future update.

This is obviously a great feature for language study, but it isn't central to the mission of Gospel Library. That said, we have some planned features (tabs, full content in the related content area) that will get the app a little closer to this.

I would recommend side-by-side language study as a great opportunity for third-party developers who want to create a refined experience with this use case in mind.

LDSview is still available for side-by-side language study, though I've only used it on a Windows desktop system:

See this thread for a discussion of a third-party web site that lets you do this:

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on touch-screen mobile devices currently.

Here's a third party app that does side by side. You can even have three columns at a time.

I have it for my iPad. I don't know if it works on iPhone. I first bought it because I was looking for a way to have the Bible in Portuguese, but I quickly saw the utility of the side by side feature also. It's not free, but if you really want/need side by side, it's worth it.
