A couple of emails went out today on the mailing lists for LDS Tools for iOS and LDS Tools for Android. Mainly it was a heads up that they're starting on the next version, 2.5.0 (for both iOS and Android). However, they included some statistics that I think are interesting:
[C]urrent usage of the iOS LDS Tools app. Here is some high level usage data for March:
Number of user sessions: 7,933,143 (A session is defined as the time from when a user starts using LDS Tools until they close or background it. If the user returns to LDS Tools within 60 seconds the previous session is resumed).
Average session length: 1m 34s
Users: 608,634 (unique devices that used the app at least once during the month)
[C]urrent usage of the Android LDS Tools app. Here is some high level usage data for March:
Number of user sessions: 6,249,973 (A session is defined as the time from when a user starts using LDS Tools until they close or background it. If the user returns to LDS Tools within 60 seconds the previous session is resumed).
Average session length: 1m 12s
Users: 363,742 (Unique devices that used the app at least once during the month).
