Re: Executive Secretary
See Handbook 1, 14.6.2 and 14.6.3. Only a bishopric member and clerk (or two bishopric members) can open the donations. It's interesting that 14.6.3 specifically mentions a Melchizedek Priesthood holder (not necessarily a clerk or bishopric member) working with a bishopric member to prepare the deposit. Exactly what it means to prepare a deposit is not clear to me -- does it include the entry of donation slips into MLS or not? But the language of 14.6.2 quite clearly excludes an executive secretary from being involved in opening donations.aramnh wrote:Can the executive secretary do weekly tithing?

Re: Executive Secretary
Alan gave the handbook information. My practical experience has demonstrated that an executive secretary cannot be one of the two e-signatories required to authorize a donation batch - even when edit finances was listed in the executive secretary's MLS user permissions.aramnh wrote:Can the executive secretary do weekly tithing?
