MLS Does Not Have A Website Administrator Calling

#1

Post by megwhat »

The bishop has asked me to update some photos in the ward director for other members.

I read this article:
https://www.lds.org/help/support/roles- ... s?lang=eng

I understand that I need to be called as a website administrator in MLS. However, I sat with the bishop and his two councilors for an entire hour trying to figure out what to do. There was no website administrator calling--or even anything like it. The only thing the bishop could do was create a custom calling called "website administrator," but--as explained by the article--that will not work.

My bishop and his counselors are wonderful, but they are not tech guys. I'm great with technology, but I've never used MLS before. Can anyone provide a step-by-step on what to do inside of MLS to call me as a website administrator? Maybe we need to update to a new version?

As a quick question that may lead to an easy solution what is your current calling?

Website Administrator is a standard calling:

In MLS click the Organizations menu at the top.

Other Organizations

Technology

Website Administrator is the only calling available in that group.
