Printing Baptismal Certificates

#1

Post by holy_temple_work »

:) Hello,
Hope someone can assist please. We have a member who would like to have his baptism ordinance certificate printed however, every time we select within any member's record the "print certificate" option in MLS, there is pop-up input boxes that requests ordination details. This member has been inactive for over a decade and does not recall the details.
Is there any way around this?

Thanks

The church does not retain sufficient details to reprint a baptismal certificate. It retains the date of the baptism and the confirmation but does not retain who performed the baptism. You can provide the member with a Individual Ordinance Summary which will show that they were baptized and when but recreating the certificate a significant time after the baptism is not usually possible.
