Duplicate locations for one event

#1

Post by rootbeericecream »

I've encountered an issue where two locations are reserved for a single event (unintended).
It occurs when one location is reserved, but subsequently the location is changed to a different facility/building, but same resource (ex. chapel). the effect is that while the monthly view shows the most recent building icon for the reservation, the event prohibits reserving the original resource.

Steps to reproduce -
1) create an event, reserving Building_A, chapel and cultural hall; save the event
2) edit the event; change location to Building_B, and check same chapel and cultural hall resources; save update.
3) view event summary (popup), or attempt reservation at Building_A chapel (conflict reported)

Work-around - to get around this issue, the solution is to change step 2 and first remove any facility reservation completely, then save the event, then re-edit the event and add the new location.

I've attached a screen capture of the event summary popup, showing both chapels and cultural halls reserved.

Example event on our calendar: Feb 6 3:00am , Stake Presidency, folsom California stake
