Church publications and documents all use a standardized document formatting and font. Where can I find a style guide that outlines the fonts used, standard font size, line height, etc?
I found one style guide that was specifically for web pages and other online content. I'm looking for one that covers printed materials.
I have searched online and in the Wiki/Forums without any success. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Bro Helgeson

Not sure, but you should be aware of Handbook 2: 21.1.10. This will limit some aspects of copying the style.

Re: Document template and/or style guide
Are you looking for a specific font? The hymnbook and other publications up through the 90s use Palatino. Some church publications now use Minion Pro, I think. I believe the English scriptures and the Church logo use internal fonts that don't match any I've found so far (as mentioned by russellhltn you shouldn't be trying to copy the logo anyway, but matching the scriptures font might be nice for some projects).

I'd like to print my patriarchal blessing in the scripture font. It is my own personal scripture. Since it is just for myself to read would it be okay to use the same font?

If you have access to the font, I see no problem. And if getting the actual font is difficult, you will probably be able to come close.

These are the fonts that show up in the PDF of the 2013 edition of the scriptures in English:
CentaurMTldsDsp-Bold
CentaurMTldsDsp-Medium
CentaurMTldsDsp-Medium-SC730
GoudySCldsStd
They appear to be LDS proprietary variants of the commercially-available fonts Centaur and Goudy.
