Single Adult categories
With Single Adults now comprising the majority of church membership, why are they not listed under the leadership menu in both stake and ward directories? And where would a "regional" singles representative fit in the directory as many stakes are now combining resources and calling one or two leaders to administer the program with several stakes. Under the agent stake? For example, I'm the Regional Rep for 9 stakes here in Alberta. We have a singles rep for each stake. And each stake is now calling ward reps for each ward.

I see both "Single Adult" and "Young Single Adult" in both my ward and stake directories under the leadership. There is none under "Ward Organizations", but you asked about leadership menu.dlcolling wrote:With Single Adults now comprising the majority of church membership, why are they not listed under the leadership menu in both stake and ward directories?
Probably. Currently there is no support for any regional callings in the directory - just the CDOL.dlcolling wrote:And where would a "regional" singles representative fit in the directory as many stakes are now combining resources and calling one or two leaders to administer the program with several stakes. Nice. Well, good to know it's possible anyway to ad them there.

There's nothing to "add". The by-in-large the directory just "is". It pulls it's information from the ward MLS systems and other programs that have member and calling information. So it can be affected by how the calling is recorded. Generally the recommendation is to use Standard Positions and to avoid Custom Positions.dlcolling wrote:Nice. Some units may be using custom positions because they can't find the standard position in the list, or they don't like the wording of the standard position, or they're doing something outside of the Handbook which has no calling - like mid-singles.
