Living ordinance recommends

#1

Post by travisbowenjr »

I am trying to enter a living ordinance recommend. Sister's membership records show up in the membership section of MLS, but not in the "View/Edit" area of MLS. Therefore, I am not able to enter her new recommend in the system.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

Where in the membership section? If as a child to her parents, you may be looking at the parent's individual record which is just genealogical information and not list of members in the ward.

My gut feeling is that you don't have this sister's records.

If I remember correctly, the View/Edit recommends area only shows members who already have recommends. I think there is an "Add Recommend Holder" or "Issue New Recommend" button somewhere to find the person in the list of all members and add them to the list of recommend holders.
