Mission Fund Account Transfer

A family with a son on a mission recently moved into our ward. The records arrived from the other ward but the mission fund account for the son did not come with the records. The family is making payments toward the sons account, but we don't have the original account to credit the payments to. How do we request the missionary account from the other ward?

Missionary Finances: Change in the missionary’s home ward says, "notify the administrative office of the change." I'd start with calling Local Unit Support.

Right. The missionary's new bishop must accept the responsibility to become the Funding Unit, and he must agree to accept any debt (or credit) from the missionary's account in his previous unit.
