New Quarterly Report deadline?

Clerks in our stake have received a message stating that quarterly reports are due on Jan 15 and not Jan 10 (as stated in Handbook 1:13.5.1).

The 15th has been the due date for many years. You're confusing two different due dates:

• By the 10th, quorum and auxiliary leaders are supposed to turn in their attendance information to the ward clerk. That's what the Handbook section you noted is referring to.
• By the 15th, the ward clerk is supposed to submit the completed report. That's what the message was referring to.

The clerk clearly needs the information before the 15th if he is to compile and submit the report by that date.

The 15th info used to be in the Handbook, but is no longer there. Where would a new Ward or Stake Clerk learn about the 15th date and not just the 10th date from the Handbook?

We recently had communication from the area office that stated the date we had to submit the next quarterly report was the 10th October. Not sure whether this is a once only request or if this will be the case for all subsequent quarters.
