LDS Tools vs. LDS.org and MLS
Why do some pictures show on LDS Tools but not on the directory in LDS.org and the other way around?

Basically, you should see the same pictures both places. Where exactly are you seeing the difference? There are several different places that photos are shown in the Directory (Ward Leaders, Ward Organizations, Households, and Photos) and on LDS Tools (Individual page, Individual photo, Household Photo).mccashlc wrote:Why do some pictures show on LDS Tools but not on the directory in LDS.org and the other way around?
One thing that some people confuse is the difference between household and individual photos, particularly for households with only one person. In the Directory, household photos are shown in the Photos section, but individual photos are shown in the Leadership lists.

Be sure you're not comparing notes between bishopric/clerks and regular members. I believe the bishopric/clerks can see photos that haven't been approved. But regular members can't.mccashlc wrote:Why do some pictures show on LDS Tools but not on the directory in LDS.org and the other way around?
Also, it seems LDS Tools sometimes has a significant lag and needs a working network connection to show photos.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
