XBMC - Mormon Channel content available? Or plans to make content available?

 I recently installed XBMC on a computer I use as my HTPC (Home Theater PC). There is a lot of neat content. I was thinking that the Mormon Channel would be a great video add-on.

Does anyone have any experience or insight that they can share?

I wish there were a better way to do this too. Let me know if you come up with anything better.

What I did was install the YouTube add-on. You can subscribe to the Mormon Channel at this link: http://www.youtube.com/user/MormonMessages/feed with your google account. After you install the add-on, there is a section to login and when you do, you can pull up your subscriptions.

Not very eloquent, I know, but it's the best I've come up with.

Another church channel to follow on YouTube is the General Conference channel:

There is an update to the XBMC addon from Nitro that allows you to view lds.org, byu-tv, and mormon channel content. I had the 0.0.1 version and was running into a problem bringing up past conference messages... only those from the most recent conference came up regardless of which year you were trying to access.

The most current version is 0.0.2 and it can be downloaded from GitHub. The repository for this addon is at https://github.com/NitroCSIA/nitrocsia-xbmc-addons

The direct link is: https://github.com/NitroCSIA/nitrocsia- ... p?raw=true

In order to install this version, I downloaded repository.nitrocsia.zip to a local folder, ran the "install from zip" routine, and then pointed it to the folder. You then have to restart XBMC. Now, I am not sure if the above zip contains the full addon or whether you need the .0.1 version first.

I don't know who has developed the app - but thanks! I use it all the time and it is great.
