This morning, our meetinghouse wireless internet works fine, and wired connections to two clerks' offices work. But one clerks' office has no wired connection. It worked fine last week and no changes have been made to hardware in the office. The Windows troubleshooter says "The Local Area Connection 2 adapter is disabled".
Ideas to fix our connection in the clerks' office?

The first thing to try is to enable that adapter (it's possible that someone inadvertently disabled it). How you do that depends on the version of Windows you are running. On Windows 7, it is in Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections. Just right click on the adapter, and choose Enable from the menu that pops up.mwgrover wrote:The Windows troubleshooter says "The Local Area Connection 2 adapter is disabled".
