MLS Feature Request: Automatically graduate Sunday school YM/YW to the next class at the end of each calendar year.
At the end of each calendar year, ward clerks re-populate each Sunday school class list with the roll from the previous class (i.e. 12 to 13, 13 to 4.... 16 to 17). If there is a more efficient way to preform this task, our ward is interested.
Thanks

That's already the way MLS works, at least for most wards. So the question is, what is different about the way your classes are set up that inhibits the automatic moves from class to class at the beginning of each year? Are your classes the built-in classes, or did someone create custom classes somewhere along the way?caseyjackman wrote:MLS Feature Request: Automatically graduate Sunday school YM/YW to the next class at the end of each calendar year.

It is also possible that someone made a bunch of manual class assignments at some point in the past. When a manual class assignment is made, MLS sets a flag for the assignment and that member is no longer automatically moved from class to class until the class assignment is reset for the member. MLS 3.7.1 adds a popup message when a manual class assignment is made to let the user know that will happen.
