MLS 3.6 Standard Callings List
I've gone through MLS and created an updated standard positions/callings list for MLS 3.6, in PDF format. Hopefully it will be useful to someone!

Re: MLS 3.6 Standard Callings List
This will be a great help. Thank you.
I'm still baffled by there not being a bulletin editor standard calling. Am I missing something? Maybe we should simply do away with the calling. I would love to know how many people actually read the thing.
Also, I noticed that Activity Days was listed twice on your list. Once under Primary and then by itself. Is that correct?

Re: MLS 3.6 Standard Callings List
Generally, only callings found in the Handbook will be found in the standard position list.mprusse wrote:I'm still baffled by there not being a bulletin editor standard calling.
I don't think there's any direction that forbids making up new callings to fit local needs. There's limits on how far that can be taken, but Bulletin Editor isn't over the line, IMO.mprusse wrote:Maybe we should simply do away with the calling.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

Re: MLS 3.6 Standard Callings List
I found the standard positions in the wiki
https://tech.lds.org/wiki/images/7/7d/M ... llings.pdf
Standard Positions – MLS 3.6 – 25 July 2013
Ward Callings by Organization
So this is the most recent document for standard calling. will there be an update corresponding to the recent MLS 3.7?
Can this Standard Calling list also be accessed & printed in MLS? I remember that Through a certain process that I had done it previously. 1-2 years ago.

Re: MLS 3.6 Standard Callings List
Although you can see all the standard callings in MLS, I have found the easiest way to see all standard and custom callings is through Clerk Resources, Callings by Organization. All standard callings are listed, even if they are vacant, and all custom callings are clearly indicated.

Is anyone aware of any changes in standard callings between MLS 3.6 and MLS 3.7?
