In the past, we've had some issues with the "Service Error Detected" message on Lesson Schedules. I haven't seen this error for a while, but it seems to be back. The situations where I see it seem to be different than the previous threads, so I'm starting a new one.
Pretty much always, when I'm on the lesson schedules page and choose to navigate elsewhere on lds.org from that page (from one of the Scriptures/Teachings/Resources/News menus,or by clicking on the Church logo), I get the "Service Error Detected" message. Occasionally this logs me out of lds.org, but usually it doesn't. This does not seem to happen when I navigate to another page from the Tools menu.
Is anyone else seeing this?

You might want to check and see if the link is http or https. If you click on a link with http to lds.org, it can log you out. Sometimes I'm able to recover from this without having to log back in by refreshing a page that's still https, but not always. Of course, getting logged out mid-session can be expected to disrupt things like the Lesson Schedule.mevans wrote:Occasionally this logs me out of lds.org, but usually it doesn't.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Most of the time, the service error doesn't log me out. All those links are menus on the lds.org web site. I checked them all and all of them (except for the store) are https, and I haven't been to the store link.russellhltn wrote:You might want to check and see if the link is http or https. Re: Service Error Detected error is back
I've been getting this error for over a year! Every time I go in to add the Teachings for our Times lessons for our quorum It only allows me to enter in one, sometimes two, lessons before it logs me out. Very frustrating! It does not happen on any other tools on lds.org that require a log in. But then again, I don't edit things that much on lds.org.
