dual callings not recognized on LDS.ORG
I typed this before, and lost it to a 404 error, so the short version. I am the assistant ward clerk and the executive secretary. I am checked off in MLS for access to temple recommend status. When I am on Lds.org, and go to > >leader resources> reports> temple recommend status, I get an access denied page. How do I fix this?

When you say "assistant ward clerk", is it just "assistant ward clerk" or is it "assistant ward clerk - membership"? I'm not sure what callings have access to that report, so it might not make a difference.
Your MLS rights have zero effect on your on-line rights.

The assistant ward clerk calling does not give access to that report but the executive secretary calling does (assuming it's the correct standard Executive Secretary calling and not a custom calling).barrydc1 wrote:I typed this before, and lost it to a 404 error, so the short version. In my experience if you don't have access the option doesn't even appear on your menu. But perhaps the menu recognizes the executive secretary calling but the actual report gets confused by the assistant ward clerk calling. You might try temporarily removing the assistant ward clerk calling, waiting a day for things to update and see if you then have access. If so, then this is probably a programming bug involving the two callings. If not then there is something else going on that needs to be tracked down.
Have you tried to access that page using clerk resources instead (clerk resources > temple > temple recommend status)? You might also try to beta version to see if its bug they've already fixed.

Re: dual callings not recognized on LDS.ORG
The temple related lists are not available in Leader Resources. Those lists are available in Clerk Reources under the menu item Temple.
Multiple callings are handled for Clerk Resources by a menu item in the far left of the menu bar in Clerk Resources titled "Switch Calling". The second icon is a bust with a down arrow if you have more than one position. Click it and you will see the two callings you have. I suspect the default for you is the assistant ward clerk position. Looking at the access table the assistant ward clerk can only view the "Adult Members Not Endowed" list in the "Temple" section. Two other lists, "Temple Recommend Status" and "Endowed Without Recommend", are available to the executive secretary.
Select the executive secretary position in Switch Calling on the left of the menu bar in Clerk Resources. Switch Calling is only available in Clerk Resources. I do not know if changing calling affects access rights in Leader Resources, but I suspect it does. Once the calling position is changed you will see the change in access rights in the Temple menu item.

Actually the template related reports are available in Leader Resources, they are just mixed in with the other reports under the Reports menu option rather than having their own menu.jdlessley wrote:The temple related lists are not available in Leader Resources. I did not know about the drop down. That's good to know. However it's still a bit odd that the menu option was displayed but the report itself gave an access denied error. It seems like the menu option shouldn't be there at all when the assistant ward clerk calling is selected.jdlessley wrote:Multiple callings are handled for Clerk Resources by a menu item in the far left of the menu bar in Clerk Resources titled "Switch Calling".
