I know in LDS Tools for iOS you can "Add to Contacts" an individual you've selected, but as far as I know there's no way to export the entire list, from the app.I was wondering if you know of a way to export directory data from LDS tools on an android phone. My home stake was divided and I now reside in a new stake. I have not synced my LDS tools data because I don't want to lose the contact information for all my beloved old stake members. Before I'm forced to sync (3 more user sessions) I'd like to export the data so I have a record of it. This would also be helpful at semester changes. Many times I need to contact members who have moved out. It would be nice to be able to keep an electronic version of their contact info for the future.

Exporting membership info from LDS Tools (Android)
My stake president asked me a question that I don't know the answer to because I'm not as familiar with the Android version of the LDS Tools app. Any LDS Tools Android experts who can give some suggestions? (he's serving in a student ward)

Under the circumstances, this could be considered as defeating security. He's trying to hold on to information that by policy he's shouldn't have continued access to. As a Leader in a ward, he still has the CDOL and can contact leaders that way.
I checked my Android device. There is also a "Add to Contacts" function. I'd suggest he do that for those he truly considers his friends.

Syncing will not remove anything from his personal address book that he has added already from LDS Tools. They have to be added one at a time, though.
Any list would need to be exported from MLS under proper guidelines and with proper approvals, but I am not aware of any way to import such a list into an Android device.
