Android Update
Is there any talk of updating the Android app to be more like the iOS app?

Re: Android Update
Well, at least the Android app works right now. Had a chat with any of the iOS 7 folks lately?nickolsen wrote:Is there any talk of updating the Android app to be more like the iOS app?
Yeah, for a while I think the iOS version was better, but the Android developers have certainly stepped up to the mark lately, in my opinion.

Definitely not complaining. I actually really like the app, just curious to see if a major update was scheduled like there was with iOS.

The alpha version of the android app is out there and being worked on - it has the same design layout as the IOS version. The Priesthood department clearly drove Apple development as a pre-cursor to the adoption of mobile technology for full-time missionaries, since they will all be given ipads, the ios app had to look like they wanted. The Android person has a lot of catching up to do... Maybe someone could donate about 80,000 nexus 7 devices to the missionary program and see if we can get some love

It's in there you just need to look around - it's under the /next folder I believe
