Hi,

I've checked the forum but could not see the answer.

Am I able to hide 2014 until it is approved. I'm using the same calendar categories as 2013.

No. That's never been an option.

The best you can do is set restrictions to prevent/limit who can add 2014 calendar items.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
