What callings does the Stake Clerk enter into MLS

#1

Post by warhubr »

Hi Everyone

Apart from Bishops what other callings does the Stake Clerk enter into MLS?

i.e. would they enter certain stake callings like High Council or Stake YM President... or is that done by the Ward Clerk?

Thanks

The stake clerk enters all stake callings into MLS (such as high councilor, stake auxiliary presidencies, etc.). The ward clerk can't enter any of these callings into MLS, at least not as standard callings, which is the way it needs to be done for any calling that has a standard position in MLS.

Most callings are entered in the normal Organizations screens of MLS. A few selected callings (called "Tier 1 callings," such as stake presidency, patriarch, stake clerk, stake executive secretary, and bishops) are entered using the Leader and Unit Change Request screens.

Seminary Teacher is a stake calling. However, getting my Stake Clerk to enter it proved impossible when I was ward clerk.

Have the counselor who set the Seminary teacher apart ask him. [grin]
