Gospel Library 3.3.1 Crashes on iOS 7.0.3

#1

Post by r36_9346 »

I just upgraded my iPhone 5 to iOS 7.0.3, which was released earlier today. Then during institute class, I opened Gospel Library 3. Once it was loaded, that silly "Rate me!" popup appeared, then the app crashed.

I then deleted and re-downloaded the app. I then tried to open at least one of the windows to a page I had open previously. I tried switching to the list view, which I find ultra superior to the cover view. It crashed again.

In short, I'm back to 2.5 again because of all these crashes.

I'll post some crash logs later… once my Mac is finished installing Mavericks.

Just adding another witness. Gospel Library 3 on iOS 7.0.3 on an iPhone 5s. The app opens and displays the library content, but attempts to read any content result in an immediate crash.

I'm having the same problem - app won't run on iOS 7.0.3. It consistently crashes on an iPhone 5S. However, it seems to work okay on an iPad 2 also running iOS 7.0.3.

Same trouble here on an iPhone 5 and the 4th generation ipad (2012, retina display, lightning connector). If I uninstall and reinstall, I get the welcome screen, but the app crashes to the desktop as soon as I try to view content. Interestingly, if I double click home, the app shows in the list of active apps and I can see content there, but can't interact with it.

Same problem here. iPhone 5S and iPad (both 2nd and 3rd generation). After reinstalling the app opened and allowed me to sign in and sync, but as soon as I tried to load a bookmark in the New Testament it crashed. Now it won't open at all because it's still trying to load that bookmark.

Looks like they are aware and know what caused it. They just posted an update on Facebook. Seems it is due to a system font having been removed by Apple in the latest update, and the missing font is causing the app to crash. They are working on a fix.
