Tithing statement for excommunicated member

#1

Post by mikebroderick »

There is a an excommunicated member in our stake who' wife wants to know how much tithing they paid ytd. All donations were entered under her husband name and when he was excommunicated, his record was pulled. How do I find the information. Since the donations were made to the ward, they should still be there, but I can't pull them up using his name.

Although the membership record may have been pulled, all the donor records are still there. You can't create a Tithing Settlement Statement for a nonmember, but you can still run a Year-to-Date Donor Statement, and you you'll also be able to do the Official Tax Statement at the end of the year. Those reports should be perfectly adequate for what is needed -- you don't need a Tithing Settlement Statement.
