Re: Saving
When you press save, you should see a green bar telling you that "Your save was successful." Do you see this? It doesn't last very long, but you should see it.
If you don't see that, tell us more about your computer setup: Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, etc. and which browser you're using. Also, try it in a different web browser and see if you have any luck.
Note: for the instructor name to save, you need to pick the instructor from the popup list that appears when you start typing. If you don't do this, it won't capture the name of the instructor, even if it matches an existing member's name perfectly.

Re: Saving
I may be having the same problem, or it may be something different.
There is a big glitch in the system, in that when using more than one tab in your internet browser, if you switch to another tab while the lesson schedules are open (e.g. to copy the web address of a conference talk), it automatically logs you out of your session when you return to the lesson schedule tab. It still lets you make changes, but then when you click save it just logs you out, saying your session has expired. This is pretty annoying when you need to flip back and forth because you end up having to sign in again every single time.
The only work around I've managed is to copy everything I might need into another programme, e.g. Word, as I can flip between programmes without any problem.
Given that this problem doesn't exist in any other aspect of lds.org technology, this seems pretty random. The LDS single sign-on even works to open new tabs and automatically have you be signed in.

Re: Saving
This is not just an issue for Lesson Schedules but many other LDS.org pages that are https. The secure session login is lost (logged out) whenever a user navigates away to an http page within the LDS.org domain. This is discussed in the Accessing LDS.org via HTTP signs you out in most cases thread. There is more in the discussion in the LDS.Org Will NOT Stay Signed/Logged In thread.joelbeevers wrote:... if you switch to another tab while the lesson schedules are open (e.g. to copy the web address of a conference talk), it automatically logs you out of your session when you return to the lesson schedule tab.

If you are using bookmarks to lds.org, make sure they are using https. If you're typing the destination, add "https://" to the front.joelbeevers wrote:There is a big glitch in the system, in that when using more than one tab in your internet browser, if you switch to another tab while the lesson schedules are open (e.g. to copy the web address of a conference talk), it automatically logs you out of your session when you return to the lesson schedule tab.
