Event Email Notifications for Youth

I have noticed that my kids are not able to receive an event email notification even though they are subscribed to a calendar.
Is there something I have to do to enable this?
Is there an age limit to receive emails?
Any help on this would be much appreciated..

More than likely its due to the event not being flagged by the editor to send out an email.

They also have to make sure they've set their Options (and the subscription) to allow for emails. But as Gary says, it's most likely the calendar editor(s) are not sending any emails.

I'd suggest looking into the Sync function so the subscribed calendars will sync directly to a smartphone.
