how to make a subcatogorie inactive (with balance)

Finances >>>Catogorie>>>Ward Missionaries>>>(green dot)missionaris name
When we tried to make a missionaries ( who has already finished mission) inactive we got the following message:
"the category has one or more non zero balances and cannot be made inactive untill all balances ore zero"
"Balance found P 1,010.00"

When we looked to other returned missionaries we saw the same message. The question now is how to solve this. Does it mean that there is still money in those accounts? Do we have it to send back to the donors or can it be used for the coming missionaries.

Hope some one can tell us step by step what to do.

You have to zero the account out. You do this buy ether transfer the positive balance in the missionaries account to the ward account. Or if the account has a negative balance you transfer from the ward account into the missionaries account.
