Blue screen with boot problem

#1

Post by ToponceKC »

When the clerk turns on the computer he received the following message. Unmountable_boot_volume. It says to disable any new hardware or software installed. Nothing new has been done. It is just a blue screen. Any ideas.

I'd pull the hard drive, add it to another machine and run disk repair on it.

If you could give us the make/model of the PC, what OS, the complete STOP Error that's displayed on the Blue Screen, and what (if anything) you've tried so far to fix it, that would help a lot.

CHKDSK /F
You'll either have to boot from a DVD or slave that hard drive to a functional system.
