I have the new GL 3 app installed on my iPad and on my iPhone 4S, and on my wife's iPhone 5. All three devices have trouble with the subscription slide toggle remaining in the "on" position, which presumably means that I will not be automatically downloading the new issues of the Ensign and Friend automatically (first world problems). I'm writing to find out if other users have experienced the same issue.
For those of you who may not be aware, go to the Ensign on GL3 and scroll all the way up when you're on the screen that lets you select which month you would like to view. By scrolling all the way up, you'll review the subscription feature. I'm excited about this feature, but I am wondering if it is fully functional yet, or is the state its in now that I described above simply the result of a bug?

I can confirm this bug. If I'm navigating the app and go back to it after turning the slider on, it's fine, but if I quit the app completely (by leaving the app, going to the app switcher, holding the app icon, and pressing the red minus sign) and open it up again, and navigate back to the top of the Ensigns list, the subscribe slider is switched off.
I submitted this as feedback from within the app. If you go to Settings > Library > Advanced, you can turn on "Screenshot Feedback" which allows you to send feedback with a screenshot where you are to the Gospel Library developers by triple-tapping on the screen from within the app.

I submitted the feedback and got this response:
"Samuel, thanks for contacting us. Currently the Subscribe button is turned off. In the future it will allow magazines and other monthly content to auto update."
I think the UI was moving ahead of the functionality – they probably wanted to build in a place for the option when they were designing the app, but didn't hide it when the app was released...
