Can't Change Phone Number in Directory

I am trying to change my phone number on the Ward Directory. The directions say to go to My Household and click on the edit button, but there is no edit button.

When I click on My Household, I see the right-hand portion of the page showing my household information, with the individual details for my household members listed below that. At the top of the right-hand portion I see the following:

Is that similar to what you see? I've circled the Edit button, just in case you weren't expecting a button to appear there at the top of that section.

Also note that a member must be 18 years of age or older to be able to edit their profile. There is a bug that does not allow an 18 year old to edit their profile. But there should be no problem for those 19 or older.

Unless it's changed, I think there's a bug that prevents children of the household from changing their information - regardless of age.

I don't recall anyone reporting that in the forum. I do recall an 18 year old reporting to have no success.

I can confirm that a child under 18 who is not a head of household cannot change a phone number, email, or photograph in the directory, but if I remember correctly, we expect that. I think the question is if a child 19+ who not listed as his/her own household can change these items?

The only thing I could find is a statement you can change lds tools phone numbers on my record but nothing that tells you how to do it. Not a lot of help. No no help at all.

A quick way to get it done may be to ask one of your ward clerks/assistant clerks to do it (assuming they're at a device and can do it when you as...otherwise it may end up being a written note with good intentions that never happens).

You can change also it yourself. Are you trying to change your phone number through the online directory (lds.org/directory) or through the LDS Tools app?
