Operate and Control Video Presentations Remotely

For those who are asked to assist setting up and playing videos for members: VLC media player has a cool remote control for the iPhone, Android, Web OS and iPad which remotely controls a ton of features of the VLC media player.

Simply set up the projector and laptop in the front and sit in the back of the classroom. Cue up and control the VLC program from your smart-device!

Search your application's download store (playstore) on your device for VLC Remote. Free!

Very true. There are also a host of free remote control apps for other programs, such as, Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center, GOM Player, PowerPoint, etc. They are certainly nice when the occasion arises.
