PowerPoint Template

#1

Post by headybr »

I was recently approached by the stake media representatives and they would like a powerpoint template to use in meetings with local news agencies. Before I invent a template, I was hoping that there might be a generic template the CHQ uses and could distribute to us? I was hoping for something that would give the presentations a common look and feel with the same colors and fonts as lds.org.

I'd have them look at https://publicaffairs.lds.org

If it's not there, then ask their Area Public Affairs director.

Note that there are limits as to what they can do. For example, they can't use the church logo. See the video on Respecting and Protecting Copyrights starting at about the 12 minute mark.

I was just preparing a lesson and ran across this site http://tech.lds.org/wiki/LDS.org_getting_started_guides. Although, it just appears to be a template for a presentation about church technology. It is also pretty outdated since the church has revamped its site recently.
You should be able to just past this link (http://tech.lds.org/wiki/images/f/f5/Ge ... lides.pptx) where you would type a website URL and it should download automatically.

Thanks kblaw. That is exactly what I was looking for. A bit dated, but at least it's official.
