The steps are outlined in Handbook 1 section 6.14.victorsilva wrote:Bishop recieved a letter requesting the removal of names from Church records. What are the steps? What to do?

Very simply, follow the online resource when the bishop logs into Leader Resources>Membership>Name Removal. Very easily done all online.

I want some credit here.... notice, that I'm not the one that took this thread so WAY far off-topic as this one has the potential of doing

Let's not even go there in this topic. It's one thing to fork a thread innocently, but to "sin against ... light and knowledge" is not a great recipe for happiness. If you really want to discuss that topic, please start a new topic. P.S. JohnShaw, I'm not sure how much credit you deserve. There are thousands of sins I fail to commit each day, but I don't think I receive great blessings for all those sin omissions. But if it makes you feel better, I'll go ahead and give you 10 credits for your heroic forbearance.

How many credits can I get for not even posting anything? No, wait a second!
